I've been going to Azumi for years.... took 2 friends for their birthday since they've never been. We sat outside, always nice views near the water. I get the same thing every time I go and they're very consistent with taste. Bartender was attentive and laughed/joked with us. 2 friends and myself bill cost me $380, yikes! Lol... we had alot of shots, so that's about right.

Azumi was high on the try list for us bc we didn't get to eat here last time and really wanted to. We love good sushi. So, we booked it and came for Happy Hour before a show last weekend and we were impressed! At first, we had dinner reservations which I had to change bc we booked last-minute tickets to Springsteen at Camden Yards. HH is only at the bar inside so we snagged two great seats and tried a bunch of things: -Edamame -Calamari -Salmon Skewer -Dumplings We also ordered the Dynamite Roll with cooked crab meat and a lemongrass aioli. SOOOOOO good. OMG - I could've eaten three of these rolls and called it a night. Not wrapped in seaweed, wrapped in a type of seeded paper. Best things: Calamari and Dumplings as well as the crab roll. We will be back next time for a more romantic, sit and dine meal.

Family visited from Los Angeles and it was the kids' first teppanyaki experience. While they were not as flashy with culinary tricks as the Shogun, they still cooked really good food and the whole family was happy. It was a wonderful hands-on experience for the kids and the adults got to eat and drink to their delight. The service was fantastic, personable, attentive, and efficient. Every need was met. On top of that, this place is by the ocean, hip, gorgeous, and fun. Great music, chic, I would definitely say cocktail attire but casual could work too if done right. Their sushi recipes were also rare and phenomenal. I had a blast at this place, I'd recommend it to everyone!

Really nice place just off of the water. Decor was nice and the staff was friendly and gave great suggestions. Got three sushi rolls all were very good however I felt the rolls were small for what you pay for. The drinks were equally good! Would absolutely come back.

Sunglasses on sunning out like little turtles. Beautifully located by the water. Jasper was sure to point out that anything on the menu with an asterisk could be modified to GF. For an allergic girl like me, that meant FREEDOM!!!!!! I started with the amazingly fresh sashimi platter, died over the crispy rice tuna (!!!!!) , spiced it up with an order of usura yolk (love the presentation), and finally kicked the goat in the ass with the tuna chu toro. (!!!!) Favorite appetizer alert. Not all crispy tuna is created equal. This particular dish has crunchy rice on all 4 sides and has a little sauce on the top of each generous piece of tuna. I'm telling u, get this appetizer! If you are vegan, get the avocado version. I was dying to try it, but I didn't have enough room in my tummy. Uggh! Maybe next time?

Came here again recently for dinner with a friend. It's still a great dining experience in general. We really enjoy their fried rice dishes which are great. I don't find their sushi rolls that exciting besides the flaming crab. I should have gotten that one again but I decided to try their Yellowtail Jalapeño Roll and Crunchy Tuna Toro. Both lacked flavor and weren't that great tasting to me. Also, got the King Salmon nigiri which tasted really fresh. The rolls aren't the best here especially for how expensive they are. But many of their other dishes are quite good. Drinks are quite delicious as well, just on the small side for the cost as well. Service is good and attentive. Overall, still a solid 4 star restaurant to me.
